Then you might be our new Senior Controller playing a key role in our Finance department.

Who are we?

Ageras Group is an ambitious and fast-paced group of fintech companies with a shared mission to enable success for micro-businesses. We are on an amazing growth journey and need you on our team to have the overall responsibility of financial statements and reports for several of our Danish and international companies.

You will be a part of our group-wide and international Finance & HR team consisting of 10 colleagues, who make a virtue out of supporting the whole business, and who go out of their way to have fun together at work.

You will report directly to our CFO.

What will you do?

As Senior Controller you will undertake all aspects of financial management. You will be a key player in budget and forecasts preparations, as well as in the development of internal control policies, procedures and tools. Furthermore, you will prepare management reports and support Group C-level and our unit directors in financial matters.

More specifically, your tasks will include:

  • Preparing monthly financial board and management reports
  • Driving month-end and year-end close processes
  • Ensuring quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting
  • Performing ad-hoc analyses and reports to support business decisions
  • Preparing budgets and forecasts
  • Managing and complying with local, state and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings
  • Accounting and reconciliations of accounts
  • Business partnering – being a sparring partner for entities

Who are you?

To be successful in this role, you should have a strong practical and theoretical financial foundation, and at the same time a business and commercial mind-set. As a person, you easily forge strong relationships with all types of people, take ownership and prefer to stay busy with a lot of tasks and challenges.

You also have:

  • A Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Auditing
  • At least 4 years experiences from a similar role - preferably in a fast-growing international company
  • Experience using accounting systems (preferably Navision)
  • A high proficiency in Excel and databases
  • Experience working with listed companies (being part of reporting to stock exchange or being part of getting listed) is considered an advantage
  • Experience from working with international subsidiaries is considered an advantage

Great English skills are required, and Danish language skills would be considered a plus.
