We’re looking for an experienced Head of Compliance to play a key role in our journey of establishing an e-money bank. You’ll be driving the process of obtaining an e-money license in terms of compliance matters in close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. Further, you are in charge of maintaining the license, ensuring that we at any time act in compliance with the requirements and regulations and provide guidance on other compliance matters for other Group entities. Aside to your role in supporting the establishment of the e-money bank, you’ll ensure that all our entities adhere to legal standards, enforce regulations in all aspects and levels of the business as well as provide guidance on compliance matters across the Group’s entities.

Join us on this exciting adventure and ensure our company adheres to legal standard and in-house policies. You will be responsible for enforcing regulations in all aspects and levels of business as well as provide guidance on compliance matters.

Specifically, you’ll:

  • Have the overall responsibility for compliance matters related to both obtaining and maintaining the e-money license
  • Develop and oversee daily compliant handling procedures
  • Identify and assess business compliance risks
  • Evaluate and report compliance incidents
  • Implement compliance tools and processes within AML, KYC, GDPR, risk assessments, etc.
  • Keep updated with regulatory developments within or outside of the company as well as evolving best practices in compliance control
  • Implement and ensure strong customer authentication (SCA)
  • Develop legal and regulatory frameworks
  • Report on security measures for operational and security risk and develop guideline

Requirements

The ideal candidate is well-versed in legal guidelines and corporate governance practices and ideally has previously been working in a financial institution.

You work diligent to complete your duties keeping in mind the objectives of the business. You can work independently, have a “can-do” attitude, can manage multiple priorities and thrive in a fast-paced business environment that requires well thought out solutions and conscientious assessments.

To us, it is important that you are ambitious, are motivated to contribute to the fast growth of the organization and pay attention to detail and accuracy.

Additionally, you have:

  • Min. 3 years proven work experience as Head of Compliance or similar role
  • BSc/BA in Law, Finance, Business administration or related field
  • Experience with compliance for payment service providers is considered as an advantage
  • Knowledge of the industry’s standards and regulations is considered as an advantage
  • An analytical mind and the ability to identify the complexities of procedures and regulations
  • A business acumen partnered with a dedication to legality
  • An extremely diligent work approach and outstanding planning abilities
  • Near-native language skills in Danish and excellent English language skills
  • Excellent communication skills and a strong attention to detail
